Jean Leblond II
French, 1635 - 1709
Painter and print publisher, succeeded his uncle Jean Leblond I (q.v.) in 1666. Initially took over the same shop in the rue St Denis, but by 1667 had moved to the rue St Jacques with the sign of Cloche d'argent. Specialised in architectural and decorative prints. As a painter was 'agréé' at the Académie in 1665, and officially received in 1689
