Pietro Antonio Martini

Engraver; b. Trescasali in Italy, to Paris 1769 in Le Bas studio. Recorded and published prints of the Paris Salons of 1785 and 1787. In London, he worked in conjunction with J H Ramberg to produce prints of the Royal Academy exhibitions of 1787 and 1788. Returned to Parma 1792. His collection was bought by Artaria c.1806
