Little is known about the artistic career of Minnie Miller. She received her training at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Pennsylvania School of Design. She regularly painted still lifes and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia from 1916 through 1921; as well as at the Philadelphia Art Alliance. In 1929, she lived in Germantown, Pennsylvania.This Post-Impressionist still life was exhibited in 1917 at PAFA.
