This psalter, written in angular Gothic script, features high quality, classic pen work. It is written in majuscule (uppercase) and minuscule (lowercase) scripts. The initials at the beginning of each line are larger than the rest of the text. The fine linear fill work is produced with a thin pen honed to a sharp point. The use of blue and red ink for illumination was extremely common during the Gothic period.
