Kornhauser attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, and exhibited two works, including this still life which features paperwhites and apples, in the 1916 Annual Exhibition. She was also a member of the Graphic Sketch Club of Philadelphia, where she exhibited and served as an instructor along with her husband, David Kornhauser, in 1916. The artist also exhibited at the Philadelphia Watercolor Club of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society exhibition in 1913.
