Miriam Tindall Smith is the only female artist represented in The Museum’s PWAP collection. She was a painter, sculptor, and craftsperson, and studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art with Edward Warwick and Arthur Carles. Her work has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Nelson-Atkins Gallery, and the American Art Institute.
