This free hand Taufschein was painted by William Otto but infilled by an anonymous scrivener. William was one of several fraktur-producing sons of Heinrich Otto. Peter Otto, the father of Mary of this certificate was the grandson of Heinrich Otto. Peter was a highly accomplished scrivener who worked about 1827 to 1846.
